I Like the MESH Grill better, except I do not like the strip that goes across the middle....They are both nice styles, and way better than the OEM Grill.

The full phantom billeted grill says that it is for off-highway use and only if legal in your state.

Any idea what the top speed is for the full grille? I've been known to go a bit over the speed limit, but no where near the top speed of the car...

Also, anybody know what Texas law has to say about using the full grille?

Thanks!

John

Nice looking, but my main concern with the billet bar type grill would be air restriction to the radiator, those air gaps between the bars seem to be too narrow to allow for outside air to get in for maximum air flow to the radiator.

I only think off high way use, is just another way of saying, the cops may or may not pull you over. Besides it wouldn't be any points on your license, just a small fine. It would be worth it. Its just like having window tint too dark. 90 percent of all cops do not care.

air restriction wont be a problem for either of those grilles.

The grille material is only about 1/8 inch thick and it's not going to restrict enough to worry about. I had a phantom grille on my full size blazer. ON texas law... I'll have to look in my law book and I'll get back to you guys about it.

Well, in Texas the first thing the cop is going to ask is "where is your front license plate", followed by "nice grill"
