So......my DIC's in color. Will post up pictures in a bit. I did find my first pet peeve with the car though. Only took a little over 24 hours.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System

There's a new "Performance Menu" option in the DIC. Gives you oil pressure, oil temp, battery voltage, and coolant temp. Now here's the thing that's bothering me. Kind of curious to see if anyone else notices it.

Metric

Standard

Is what is bothering you the fact that oil pressure in American is still bar not PSI?

I thought it was weird that all the tire PSIs were the same but the kilopascals were off on one tire.

Ding ding ding - Now I just have to figure out how out of all the test fleet drivers not a single one noticed this, but I was in my car for seven minutes pushing buttons and caught it.

I'm really looking forward to going to the dealer and telling them my DIC is broken

Wow, that is weird - must be a rounding error or something.

Also if they are so accurate with Tire pressure in Metric why not be more precise with the psi in lbs?

They might tell you to stop playing with it

Sorry I just had to. But I'm surprised that it wasn't caught in a test fleet vehicle that will most likely need a software update to have it "fixed".

The main reason it would annoy me is because I have no idea how to read bar measurements never learned and never bothered looking up the conversion.

That's exactly how I feel about it. I mean, I can look at the manual gauge on the four gauge pack to get the PSI, or do the conversion in my head (it's like 1:1.2 ish) - but that's not the point. It's something that someone should have caught during fleet testing.

Yep we got them. Didn't know you guys made mugs though - my brass knuckles mug will have to sit on the self for while I break my Rodgers one in.
