Haven't dyno'd the car since the new hood install Ozzy, also they are painted (Satin Black) '12 ZL1 wheels...csmith4153, We ordered it direct from Eric Peters at MPD1.com for that price.

You may see in increase in overall HP on the dyno,but it won't be a true reading.

@ 800rwhp, adding the Ram Air Induction hood won't get noticed at all!!! I chose it due to the CAI I had, plus it was one of few that would clear the 2.9L Whipple!

Question what about rain? Also what is the hood made of ?

@ GundamX7X, Rain is not a problem at all (reference the 1998-2002 Camaro SS or WS6 Trans Am's which had Ram Air Induction), it is an old technology that came into existence for muscle cars in the 60's...The hood is 100% Fiberglass.

The 4th Gen f-bodies also had specific design aspects to catch and drain water from the intake...

Regardless, mine doesn't see the rain, so it doesn't matter - one who puts it on a daily driver might have and issue or not...I would consult with MPD Motorsports on that!
