I can say that this is the first time I have ever paid over MSRP and probably the last. I have owned 5 Camaros (wished I kept them) and years of waiting for GM to resurrect the Camaro got me really impatient. Reading all your guys' post sinks in the "Patience Pays Off" thing, in more ways than 1.

The bottom line is that people that pay over sticker price hurt the rest of the people that are trying to obtain this car by driving the prices up. If nobody paid over sticker price then most dealers would get the point and not try to screw everybody.

Exactly........... I got mine under sticker, BUT only by $300.

A local Chevy Dealer had a SS parked at a cruise night recently. A big sign in the window said "REGULAR PRICE $42,990 - SALE PRICE $40,990" I mentioned to another person looking at the car that it still looked like a $2k markup. He responded that he knows that to be true because his friend just got one for $37k and it had the 300hp V6 in it.
There really is one born every minute.
