B&M Pro Stick shifter conversion for 6L80E

Is it possible to install the B&M Pro Stick gated for a 2 speed power glide on the 6L80E?

Since its the same shift pattern it should work but is there a difference in gate travel that wont allow the 6L80E to seat fully into a specific gear?
This has nothing to do with the trigger shifts while in Sport, I just want to know if the linkage travel between P-R-N-D-S is the same. No one else has tried this that I can find.....

The short answer is yes. Linkage travel is the same between the 6L and powerglide.
