Guys, sorry if this is a stupid question but is the Dual Exhaust Mode the same or similar to what's on the ZL1- Meaning quad tips, etc? That looks so bad ass to me - I love it...

It's the same one as the ZL1. Why would someone purchase this though? Can someone answer that? What advantages does this have over an aftermarket exhaust that weighs less and is less restrictive 100% of the time?

EPA compliance and no excuse for some dealership to try to deny warranty for aftermarket parts.

That exhaust that sounds so cool at strip or in town playing around, is the same exhaust that you start to hate after a couple hours on the highway. Sometimes it's nice to have the radio at a normal level or carry a conversation and not have to yell.

So, when you want quiet, take it easy on the go pedal. When you get on it, she'll tell you what you want to hear! Best of both worlds. Do they make one for wives?

It's just a reference. Look through. Pick the codes and options so when ordering opens in a few weeks, you can walk in ready to go.

After looking through the guide again, this stood out to me....

Name: curb weight.jpg

Was the weight never offically documented from GM even for the 2012? I never saw a place on their site with it. Maybe the ZL1 went on a little diet for 2013?

I know, I know, probably just wishful thinking.

That's not a Malibu, in fact that is not a car GM even builds. It's just a rendition of an Impala.

interesting, auxiliary gauges removed for 2013 except for zl1? Also surprised to see mylink rear vision standard for 2ss. Also exited to see the dual mode exhaust option!! Keep making up grades chevy. I'm eyeing a 2013/2014!

The factory guages are the same as last year, there are just two types. One set with a boost guage for the ZL1 and the other set with the normal gauages for the 2SS and I think 2LT.
Mylink rear vision is standard on both the 2LT and 2SS models as well, this also includes the ZL1
