Anyone interested or attempted a side exit exhaust system?
Im not talking Corvette Stingray side pipes but just a side exit under the rocker sill area like race cars.
It looks to be somewhat easy to do all you would need is to have the pipes in the center bent and tips fitted. On some race cars they notched out the rocker but I dont think I would be chopping the body up to do it. A Nice flat rectangle tip would look cool. Today in town I saw a Lighting and a Mercedes G55 and thats what got my mind going on the side exhaust. |

I've always loved side exhaust.

i read a post awhile back that mentioned it cant be done due to the fuel tank placement (or was is fuel line?)...somethin like that anyway.

Im crawling under my car Saturday to check this out. I was thinking right under the door not too far towards the rear wheel well, at an angle would look so slick with angled tips.

That sounds interesting I'm sure it could be done it would just take someone who knew what they were doing. Ultimately ANYTHING can be done.....all you need is the $$$$$.
