I have an app that has tracked my mileage for every tank of gas. My best was 22.4 driving from SC to Jacksonville, FL. However, around town, my normal is between 11.7 & 14.3. Mostly city driving. 5 miles from home to work, but will take 15-20 min depending on time of day.

Wow first time I don't see SS people saying they get 30+mpg. You get an SS for the feel and sound of those mean 400+ horses not to get good gas milage Never mind just saw a 30mpg a few posts up ughhhh.

Ditto; got a 2014 2SS with a K&N CAI and Borla ATAK Exhaust, before the exhaust and CAI i was getting about 21-22 after I am at a very solid 25. If I drive at 70 on cruise control I have 27 on a couple of road trips. My comute to work is 25m on the highway and very little "in city driving"

This is kind of a depressing thread. I daily a '99 Z28 M6 and routinely get 26.5 mpg. I had hoped to get into even better numbers when I step up to a 5th Gen. I'll probably still do that eventually, but will have to make sure that I have a bit extra for gas.

Average? Sorry, the car is too heavy. You can get better on the highway though. I get about 30 on highway and 20 in town. Unfortunately I rarely see the highway.

I get about 20mpg around town and 23 or so on interstate. And the more I drive this great car, the less I care about gas mileage.
Annnnnnnnnnd, there's the grin!

I was hoping the same thing coming from our WS6, which got about 20 MPG combined, and 25 or so on the interstate. The Camaro is 18 combined, and 23 on the interstate driving the same. The Camaro is a much more powerful engine. so I guess I should have expected it.
