Passenger side SOLO HFC install

So I'm in my driveway right now installing the hfc with a buddy. We did the drivers side fairly easily, and now got to the passenger side. How the hell do you remove the passenger side cat? I can't get any tool squeezed in there enough to get at it. I could MAYBE get 1 bolt if I really contort, but the other there there's no chance. Any help here? I'll try to post a pic but I'm on my phone.

Then if I slide my phone in there you can see it's blocked by that pipe.

I ran into the same problem. It wasn't easy to do passenger side. I had to take it to a buddy's shop put it on a lift, remove tire and bend back heat shield. Even then I had to use some of his tools and advice to get it off. Honestly if you can't figure it out you should consider paying someone to get it done.

removing the front tire and the wheel well liner should give you access to those bolts through the wheel well.

I hate to say it but I actually got it off without removing anything... Had to get the bolts from the bottom though.

Thanks for the replies. Ended up getting then free after much contortion and from underneath. Didn't have to take the wheel off, just reached up and went 1/8 of a wrench turn at a time. Let me tell you it took forever! But got em on, and already lovin it!
For those future installers, using a 7mm wrench to turn the whole bolt out instead of fighting with the nut is much easier! Getting to the nut was difficult because of how close it was to the pipe and it's hard to get a wrench to fit. But the 7mm fit right to the end of the bolt and got it out perfectly.

I'm not sure I trust myself to write up a DIY for everyone to see, lol. Plus I didn't take many pictures of the process. But I followed these threads and they REALLY helped! Shout out to users "fsusmithc2" and "thahemp". Feel free to pm me though if you're planning on doing this and I'll gladly help!

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=289627 <-- write up for the lfx

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=229346 <-- this is for the v8, but it still helped a lot with my v6 installation.

This vid has all the same mods as me. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gjiMJmJYzHw http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hHDYPpJ1rlc
I didn't take a before video, and I don't have a YouTube account. But I'll see if I can figure out a different way to post a vid when I get home!
