Car is Shaking Bad....

I was at a stop light today when I noticed the car was shaking towards the mid rear of the car like it was about to shut off. Soon after the stablitrak showed up. As I was making it home it just started to get worse and worse. Started hearing a popping sound out of my exhaust. I am running high flow cats with the turbo not sure if the shop tuned it for it or not, but do u expect the cats are done?

I have no check engine light. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Seriously doubt it is the cats. Check plugs/wires like ^^^ said, then check for boost leaks, loose sensors, etc.

Yeah I'll check it out. Could the MAF be causing it? I did have the intake tube off while one of my pipes was getting powdercoated.

No check engine light.

It does not hurt to check, but usually maf throws a engine light and not stabilitrak lights

So 3 things that we did when my car was down while my interior was getting worked on my buddy took out one of the wastegate springs to see if the right one was in. The pipe with the MAF was left off while my larger intake pipe was powdercoated. We changed the BOV. Other then that the car was running fine before.

So got it on the lift and noticed their was an exhaust leak to the exhaust manifold flange. I'm gonna grab another gasket, but tightened it back up bolts were loose. Car sounded better decided to take it back out. After a few runs car started shaking again. Check engine light went on code P0300 showed up. I then thought what u guys told me to check the plug and wires. After the car cooled down I removed my engine covers and found this. One of the plugs wasnt even connected. Took it back out car runs so much better now that its runs on all cylinders. I'll keep monitoring it.

Ditch those spark plug covers and put OEM shields back on. They work 10000x better.

OEM Shields? I am running spark plug covers as well. What are the issues with them?

Typically they are so wide that they actually touch stuff. They only work if you have a decent air gap. If they aren't touching anything, keep them I guess, but if they touch anything, the heat gets transferred right through, and it cooks the wire inside. I ran them for about 5k miles, but kept going through plugs wires. the wires would be cracked/cooked and fall apart. Went back to OEM setup, zero issues for past 20k miles.
