ZL1 shifter question
Does anyone know if the shifter mounting is going to be the same as in the SS? I really want to reuse my MGW shifter if possible. Or did GM get the shifter right this time?

I venture to guess that the guy dogging the gears in the ZL1 at Nürburgring would say they got it right.

It is a short shifter developed in house. The throw on the SEMA ZL1 was very crisp and accurate in my mind.

Thanks guys, I guess I'll hang on to the MGW shifter just in case I don't like the factory one.

Since you have a lot of time with your MGW, I am going to interested in your feedback as to how the new short shifter compares to the MGW. I would hold on to it for now.

Both the shifter and the knob have been redesigned as per Camaro driver/owner inputs....should be a good one!

I would really appreciate a comparison. The MGW is very high on the list of only a few mods I have planned for my ZL1.
