Love the look myself. I might have to try it out on my old Z. How easy does it come off once you are done with it?

I think you missed the point as some others have as well. It's to protect the paint, last I time I checked v6 and the v8 have the same body style give or take a few cosmetics. The engine isn't wrapped the body is. How does this turn into a v6 bashing session?

they sell it by the gallon, if you do it yourself you will spend about $3-400. that includes the spray gun.

That's really tight. I would have the rims painted/ powder coated orange if it were mine. I have one so I can say that. Enjoy it, it's cool !

I like the matte black look, but I don't know why the owner didn't go with a vinyl wrap. PlastiDip is an awesome product though. I've contemplated spraying it on my front bumper for long road trips and then peeling it off when I got there. Kind of like a disposable bra for $5.

I'm more relieved, after seeing what shop did this, that it didn't leave there with 34" rims.

You know, I could easily see myself using plastidip on the entire front bumper panel in place of a Bra. And it would be easy to protect the front of the hood without covering the whole thing by just accenting the front.

Not my style. To each his own. Everyone has different taste. To everybody putting him and/or his car down, it's his car. You've done what you wanted to yours.

I've tried the Plasti dip on wheels and it looks pretty good for a while. But I didn't pay 60K for a car to use spray can paint on. He'll have one H%%% of a time getting that back off.
