I think he's actually referring to intercooler brick inside the blower not the heat exchanger.

Well lets jusr say gm gave us hot rodders a engine fuse... I had a throttle body screw back out.. it took a tiny little chunk out of the back of a rotor and got tossed into the brick with what looks to be like a lot if force.. the car started idling funny and my afr went crazy fat, checked and sure enough the tank was low on water.. pulled the lid and there it was plane as day.. intercooler brick saved my engine.

Isn't one of Murphy's Laws that says...

Any circuit that has a fast acting fuse to protect it will blow first thereby protecting the fuse.

$600.00?
I've seen the whole cover for less than $300.00 including new intercooler brick.

I know.. if I see a cover with brick im buying it.. absolutely ridiculous. . They said it would be repaired by tomorrow. . Im thinking the car is going to get a 2.3 lower this winter.
