Car covers on delivery truck

Hey guys and gals,

I was driving home from the parts store this morning and i saw a delivery truck in the local truck stop, i assume waiting to unload tomorrow morning, I took a glance over at it just kind of curious to see if my camaro was on the truck, and i noticed several of the cars looked weird....so i drove up next to the truck and realized what was wrong with a few of the vehicles, they had car covers over them. So what i'm wondering is if anyone knows why they would put car covers on them for transport???

BTW my camaro wasnt on the truck :(

Z28?

Car cover is LPO (dealer installed). Maybe due to the seemingly high amount of Camaro mishaps they're now doing this for some or all cars to protect them? Although I doubt it would do much as the issues happen when the car is being moved and a car cover obviously wouldn't help with that.
