Its very relieving to know that while I STILL haven't gotten the car I ordered a year ago, dumb @$$es like this can wreck theirs. yay.

Yea looks like an oil or water spot, lost traction and since the system was off the back end came out. It could happen to anyone really even a pro.

If the car didn't encounter, lets say a slick spot, would a good quick burnout have helped by heating the tires if stabilitrack (or other electrical supports) were turned off??

Dearly beloved, we ask for a moment of silence and to lower all flags to half staff in memory of this fallen Camaro SS. May he rest in eternal peace, and for ever with the other numerous 5th generation wrecks which have preceded him as discussed in other threads posted on this forum.

They perrished from this earth far too soon. :(

Yeah but why would you keep the hammer down like that with no traction off the line? Makes little sense. Maybe if all of a sudden the wheels rebroke loose again and did that I'd be a little more understanding.

I agree with you Vash, could have been oil from the previous car that nobody knew about.

Well it is great that he was at a track and not on the street!! And for any beginners, I think this is a good reminder to use traction control for a few runs to get experience of just getting staged and going down the track straight. I think some people may not this car because its stock. But 400+ HP is a lot to handle, so beware.
