What do you have in mind for max boost? Is the system being designed to work with the stock converter?
Probably 6-7 pounds on the basic kit out of the box. The stock converter should be fine with the turbo size we chose. The turbo will easily be good for 20 psi and high 600s whp with no problem at all. Can't wait to get it on the dyno.

A couple engine bay pics minus a couple things

I think you could fit a turbo the size of a pumpkin in there

Hate to ask a stupid question, but here goes. Purchased extended warr. on my Camaro, will adding turbo void that and the orginal factory warranty? Already removed the stock mufflers and replaced with stainless pipes and was leary about that. Hate to have something fail and not have it covered. Thanks

If you wanna play you have to pay. Power adders not supplied by the factory are not covered in your warranty.

Send a message via AIM to Baldturbofreak
But will only affect the warrantee on parts of the drivetrain. IE, if your window motor stops working it's still covered.

We have built a lot of turbo cars with less engine bay room with the turbo in that same spot with no more heat issues than any turbo setup really.

As far as the warranty, with the final design of the kit, we are trying out best to not have to move or modify many of the stock parts. This way the turbo kit will be able to be fully removed without any trace of it ever being there. Not saying that you should turn the boost up to 35psi and try to blow your engine so you can get it replaced but we all know that factory cars have some smaller parts break and the warranty department usually frowns on serious aftermarket parts and turns people down.

Results coming soon plus some more pics!!!

Bump for updates- as for my heat question- I don't mean in comparison to other systems, rather, would it get to the point that a vented hood would be recommended and/or using heat tolerant accessories?

Thanks, piping is pretty much finished, we will have some pictures up for you soon. We should have it all completed here pretty soon and will have the final results. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on here or send me a pm.

Thanks guys!!

Also, as far as heat goes, I really don't think it will be any kind of issue. The underhood temps might rise a little bit but nothing to have any concerns on. We will do some stock vs turbo under hood temps for comparison.
