First time ever on a dragstrip
I was finally able to get my car to the strip. I was disappointed in the times I ran. My passes were a 12.7,13.1,12.6. Each 60' was over 2 sec. I am running Nitto G2 on stock 20" wheels. My mods are BTR stage 4,rod mod intake,CAI intake with scoop,PTB,ported heads with Max flow of 369cfm, UDP, 2" headers with 3"exhaust. BMR trailing arms 3:91 gears with DSS axles. It was tuned with a laptop after the cam, but I didn't get a retune after the heads were done. With these mods I should be in the low 11 sec range I would think from looking at the fast list. Any suggestions on what I need to do.And what is a decent time for my setup.

Retune, better tires (recommend 17" or 18" setup), and time in seat

per some of my previous posts until you get some REAL DR's forget about the 1/4...per above minimum 18, better 17 and best if your planning future mods and more power is a 15" setup...and anytime the motor is modded power is being left on the table if it's not re-tuned...these cars are all computer...and yes seat time...good luck!

have you tried no lift shifting? You gotta be quick with it to not hurt anything, but I went from a 13.2 to being my best to a 12.88 by doing it.

What rpms are you shifting at? My guess is that you are short shifting

With a 2.0 second 60' foot time you will never run anything good!! Get that down and you will see results!! Every 1/10 at the line is worth like 2/10ths at the finish line. Good luck!!

Som,ething is off with that 12.6@106mph..isnt more like 116?
Forget good ET with stock style tires. Need to step down to 17-18 inch. The only thing you can do is look at your mph. It seems on the low side but you only got 3 runs, which is nothing close to learn how to lauch and shift hard at the track. What RPM you shift? No need to no-lift shift, just shift fast and hard. I'd say that depending on the track and DA, you have to touch 120mph with that big cam and heads and some nice boltons. And I am pretty sure this cam needs a higher rpm launch. Were you full of gas? Was there a passenger? any dyno? Who ported the heads? stock compression? Yes you need a retune.
