Coolant smell on LS3 with Maggie?

so....I had my Maggie installed by a premier installer that is about 2 hours away from me. It was installed about a month ago. From day one i could smell coolant while driving it. I didn't notice any smoke or anything and the only dripping that i saw on the garage floor was the size of a quarter and only saw it twice. I have checked all of the hoses and cant see and wetness or obvious leaking. They used the same color antifreeze but im pretty sure it is coming from the rear of the passenger side of the motor. I checked the supercharger reservoir and the lid doesn't seem to fit very tight but still no wetness around there either. Anybody have an idea of where the smell is coming from?

I think they need to either come to your house and fix it ,or they need to pay to have it picked up and sent to their shop. It might be something as small as a fitting or hose leaking but then again it might be worse. I wouldn't let is go another day.

they have offered to come pick it up......i just dont want to ship it back if it is something stupid. The reservoir is full and the engine temp is normal. Its just the smell that freaks me out.

There was an early service bulletin regarding the heater core and hoses--right around the pack passenger side of the engine compartment. It may be that. That would be a quick fix.

so would this be a factory issue or an install/maggie issue?

DID YOU HAVE THESE INSTALLED ON YOUR CAR WHEN THEY INSTALLED THE SUPERCHARGER? YES OR NO

My A6 with the Maggie smells the same way from time to time and has since the install 6 months ago. It even leaked a little out on the trailer after we got to the track. I could never find the leak so I ended up dealing with it. Jannetty will look at it on the next wk so I'll keep you posted.
