before the gears and converter i was only able to get sub 2.0 once and that was on stock tires.

What was the ET,MPH before the conveter and gears and was those 2 mods the only thing that changed?

yes they were the only two things that changed. previous best was 13.3 at 106 and change. that was the best i got last year at this time. The DA is real comparable so thats what i compare it too. My previous best this year was 13.64 at 104 with a DA about 400 higher.

Well im not exactly sure how you gained 2mph without better weather or more power but a .7 reduction in ET is awesome progress. You should be thrilled by those results. I remember getting down right gitty like a school girl when I dropped my 4th gen ET times .5 with a converter so you must be really stoked. Good job.

A very efficient converter means less drive train loss and could account for the extra MPH.
