Charleston, SC/Lowcountry Members
Hey, all. In anticipation of getting my new SS, I'm trying to figure out where I can take some nice pictures of the beast. Any thoughts of bare fields or cool backdrops that may do nicely in the Charleston or Lowcountry area? I could even drive down to the Hilton Head area, if need be, since I'll drive down there to show it off to my dad.

there's lots of scenic locations downtown, mt. pleasant, random spots off the road.
you could drive around and scout some places now before your car gets here

Yeah, that's probably my best bet. I may see about what's available, accessible and nice around the old Navy base. Deserted areas are always good.

what kind of camera do you have? I know a lot of our local guys on fastgm.com do a lot of auto photography on a normal basis and would know of a few areas to go shoot at.

I primarily use a Nikon D40x. Just a good, small DSLR with a few lenses.
