So ever since I've had my Camaro, I've had nothing but complements, from soccer moms to truckers! But i was driving my buddy home the other night and these high schoolers asked me "how's daddies car?!"

I laughed and told them that this was my car, saved up all on my own and didn't need any help from mommy and daddy

It was a funny situation but c'mon, I'm 24 and i busted my hump to get this car! jealous kids for sure, but wanted to share my stupid story

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I DARE a little punk@55 kid to even imply that my mom helped me buy my car. I'll just rev it a few times, pull up next to them and say "I'm 23 and have a Master's degree. That's how I bought this car. B!+CH!"

i've never gotten statements from people like that, even when i did drive my dads AMG(used to let me drive it if i washed/waxed it)... maybe because i have facial hair and i look older?

i work at a movie theatre and i hear 20 year olds talking about how they test drive porsches and an audi R8's and say they are crap and slow........those are the people that should be made fun of

Next time say..... "Why, you jealous cause your Parents didn't buy you a car!" .... Usually shuts them up pretty quick! I also have a kid that kept saying the SRT8 looks way better, so the last time he said it..... I told him "to bad you'll never afford one with the grades your getting in school"... pissed him off!
