SS VS C7
Hey guys just wondering what kind of HP and TQ do you think it would take to beat a base model stock C7? I know they are about 600lbs-700lbs lighter than our cars so I feel like you are gonna have to be pushing some serious power to beat one.

I believe they run low 12's, in the high teens trap. I would say drop a cam in your car and you would hang just fine.

The stock C7's running at Camarofest were in the 12.5 range. I was running 12.2 with a s/c.

Whatever mods itll take you to run consistent low 12's and be an avg driver. For most thatd be all bolt ons. For others you need to throw in a cam. Around 450+ SHOULD do it

If you want to run the mph they do add power. If you just wanna et with them add a stall and tires. Dr's,stall and 100+HP hit of spray will handle your needs.

Stock C7 in good air with a decent driver should be 11.5-11.7 @ 120. That's what the guy at Atco was running last November.

Yeah the c7 is a solid 11 sec car. Most of the drivers only run 12's.

an atco run in negative DA at a private track rental is not real world. like a low 12 out of a stock 5.0. you'll never actually see it happen.
real world on any given day with an average driver a c7 will run mid 12's, lower with a better driver.
