Convertible - hardtop or softtop
Can anyone share details on how they are going to do the top on the convertible? My quick search didn't come up with anything obvious. Which would you prefer?

If I were to buy a convertible, my first choice would be a hard top. Less worry about somone cutting it and getting in the car. Downside is cost. Hardtop convertibles cost a lot more money than a soft top.

the Camaro's 'vert top will be a soft top... making it into a retractable hardtop would almost completely negate the trunk of this car... and make it almost impossible to access what was left in that trunk... far easier to design and engineer a soft top than to find a way to hide a hardtop 'vert.

How many of you who want a hardtop 'vert are willing to pay the extra 3-4K difference? Not very many I would think.

I'd take the hard top but would never be able to afford it.
