Bone stock 2014 RWHP/TQ ?

I'm looking into buying a new 2014 ZL1 sometime in the Summer/early Fall. I've been reading up here and it seems most folks add something to their ZL1 (CAI, TB, headers, ...) so all the listed Dyno numbers have a wide range. Anyone have what the bone stock RWHP/TQ would be for a 2014 Automatic ZL1?

Thanks in advance.

That sounds more in the ball park.

The crank HP is 580 and the parasitic loss on an auto is more than a stick, but most say it is a 15-18% power loss from the crank for an auto. Doing the math puts the RWHP for an auto in the 493 (15%) - 476 (18%) range. Just looking to see where the bone stock auto's actually landed at.

About 475 with auto, look at the dyno thread. Many of the cars save baseline.

Don't know about the torque, but I've always seen hp at 490-515 stock, depending on situations or dyno.

It depends on the car ( being a A6) as well as the dyno setting as in this pull its already got bolt parts and the reading was 479,which means that @475 stock a TB and rotofab are only worth 4rwhp,which makes no sense !!!
Yes there is also another pull that claims stock with 479RWHP
my car pulled 459rwhp completely stock which is about what this car was most likely at if it pulled 479 with a CAI,& a TB and a stock tune.. I think that a lot of dyno's are set really high,I would rather go to a shop that sets it dnyo low at the closest to the real numbers..we all have seen a car say 500rwhp on a DYNO then go to another and pull 450rwhp happens all the time...so to be fair its from low 450's to high 470's depending on the person thats setting up the dyno....Anyway the dyno is just a tool and it doesnt really matter what your car pulls to start with as long as its used just as a tool to tune, and compare A to B..I would be happy with a ZL that has 500rwhp and ran ten's than one that had 800RWHp and ran 11's if you know what I mean..
We all saw the write up's and the pulls on youtube claiming that their ZL1 pulled 525 to 535rwhp If you buy a ZL1 the dnyo numbers arent that important, its the gains from the parts you get that counts !!! GOOD LUCK

From the above thread
PFADT Tri-Y Headers & Cats installed with tune by Late Model Racecraft in Houston.

Auto Trans.
Dynojet
Hard break in
3,800 miles on the car

Baseline run is with stock tune and Roto-Fab intake & ported LSA TB.

Numbers are a bit low but it sure pulls harder and sounds a lot better.

Baseline (intake/tb/stock tune): 479/464
Headers/Cats/tune: 511/475

Appreciate the comments. Read thru the Dyno thread and it does look like base line, bone stock auto is in the 460-480 RWHP range. Right now, this is fine for me as I am looking to buy new next year and wanted something that was close to what my supercharged 2003 Vette produced (480 RWHP/ 424TQ) as it was a fun driver. Eventually, I will probably do the CAI, TB, long tube headers, and tune route....but not right away.

I think this is supposed to be a rhetorical statement but it is pretty close to reality for me. I like the 800hp better. And it is pretty hard to run in the 10's when you smoke the tires at will through the first 3 gears. It doesn't matter how much power you have if you cant get traction. Has anyone made a 10 sec pass with just 500 whp? Just curious.

I get your point, fast is fast no matter what the dyno says. And as has been mentioned, there is a lot of variation between dynos.

Yeah that's my car. I was a little surprised how low the numbers were. I do plan on going to another dyno just to see if the numbers change much. What IS important is that I gain over 30 rwhp with headers and tune. So like you said, it is a tool. I wish I would have done a pull when I was completely stock because I either got a bum engine or the dyno reads a little low.
