Newbie seeking help with mods
Don't know if this is the right thread for these questions. So, my buddy has convinced me to make some changes in my 2010 V6 2LT Camaro. Specifically, he recommends I change the exhaust and air intake system to increase my power, sound, and fuel efficiency. After watching some videos online, I'm 99 percent convinced. But, I don't have the skill or tools to install anything.
He recommended these parts: http://www.knfilters.com/news/news.aspx?ID=2578 and http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=31200A I live in Denver. I posted in the Regional section for recommendations of any performance shops that do this kind of work. Is there anything else besides these parts that you'd recommend? Does any of this affect my warranty? Also, I've read some people mention getting the car tuned once they get the parts installed. But, I'm worried that this actually does void the warranty. Would there be any detriment to the car to have these parts installed but not get the tuning? Thanks for helping a newbie out. Gaelinic |
