Looking to get Cam install on my L99
Looking to get a cam installation on my 2010 Camaro SS. Would love to find a weekend warrior/ wrencher who knows what they're doing but won't charge me out the ass. Would also need a tune. If anyone knows any shops that are reputable and don't suck you dry please let me know! Really looking to stay under 3,500 dollars for everything.

On your other inquiry I recommended GPI as a great shop near you.
If this is for a shade-tree backyard shop then I recommend Race Proven Performance and Jared Cocananougher in Harrodsburg, Ky. His office and parts business shares an office wall with Brian Tooley himself. Jared is an LS specialist and also enlists James Short of ShorTuning for the dyno tune. I do not think you would be disappointed and for a fee, Jared may even come get the car, but don't quote me on that.

Maybe get in touch with Shane Hinds a MO-based tuner and see who he would reccomend for the install work.

So far have got in contact with Aaron at GPI and he literally went through every part with me and explained why and went over my different cam options! Was told that he has 3 cams that are mild and don't require a stall converter so we cut costs there and he was EXTREMELY knowledgeable! With the dod delete, cam and supporting mods, headers, Cai, dyno tune, and labor we were right around 4K and some change so definitely the best estimate so far! Still trying to stay around $3500 out the door! Left messages for Justice, kc, and lsxkilr

When you walk in the shop at GPI, you know the entire crew is working because they enjoy what they do. The number of 1k HP Vettes they have in the shop is pretty impressive... I don't know that they could actually warranty an engine with a CAM, but if it could be done.... Remember they also work out of a dealership, That price is an AWESOME price when you consider it comes with a receipt from GM.
