This flaw was brought to my attention...:Update 4/1/14

My Mom showed me this on the front bumper. It's black blotches on the top of the bumper on both ends. You can't see it when you're within 3 ft of the car, but once your pass that you can see it when focused on it. Looks like a bad Kandy job. Sucks because I don't want to be without my new car...

4/1/14/ Update:

So I'm having warranty work done to the engine, so I figure I should handle this paint issue while the car is at the dealer. I Email the service consultant these pics. She calls me with an update for the work on the engine, I asked her did she ever get the pics I emailed to her. She says "yes I forwarded them to the paint and body director, and he says its just metallic chips not chemical spotting, basically saying it's not an issue." Really? They are insulting my intelligence, its clearly blotching of some sort. I should get my car back tomorrow from the warranty work for the engine so tomorrow I will be going up there. I knew I was going to run into BS trying to get this paint problem corrected.

I see reflections in your paint, but that's normal because paint is shiny... lol

No it's not the pics. Yea you're right, above the headlights.

You can see it good in person and looks a lot worse.

It's hard to capture it.

I can see what you are talking about. I would take it to the dealer.

I see it too, that is weird. Another vote to take it to the dealer if it's under warranty.

And when the dealer gives you the eventual run around, contact Chevy Customer Service on here. I believe the username is ChevyCustmrServce or something like that.

Yeah man you need to take that thing back to the dealer. That looks horrible! On the bright side they will repaint and you should be good to go

I agree. The only thing I will be concern about is, once the dealership repaint the bumper, will the color match the rest of the car. I had that same problem but with the rear bumper. Just something to think about

The dealer I bought the car from is 80 miles away.

First thing my local dealers ask when you go in for warranty work, "Did you buy the car from here?" It's always a hassle, I will get to it eventually.

RRM isn't a premium color.
