Stripped brakes 😡
So I was installing these new brembo calipers I just bought and the first one I try to put on the line is being difficult to screw in. So once we finally get it to scre in straight it's still dripping brake fluid. we try to tighten it a little bit more and suddenly it got really easy to screw (I stripped it). Anyone know if I can get the hole redrilled or if I need a new caliper. And any advice as how to make sure this doesn't happen next time? I'd really appreciate it

The hole is also only half stripped if that makes any difference. I was looking at the bolt and it looks like it had two different thread patterns on it.

Should be an easy fix..just buy the correct size thread tap and re tap the hole you'll have brand new threads again..and replace the bolt
