I miss my car!!

We had a bit of snow here in the Kansas City area, and I had to put the Camaro to bed for a while. It doesn't look very promising to be able to get her out for quite a long time. I want to let everything melt, and get the salt off the roads first. It's only been a week and I am already having power withdrawls. Wish I lived in a warmer climate. Your thoughts?

Could be worse. Somewhere under there is a Camaro.

Once the roads dry and the salt dusts off you will be fine to drive the Camaro.

Mine has been covered in the garage for 2 months now. It'll be another 6 to 8 weeks before I can get it out again. I know how you feel!

I just keep telling myself it will be Christmas in April (or possibly late March if the ice gods are sated by all the winter's car-crash-sacrifices). When I get to work and see all the ice/snow/salt/mud encrusted cars (especially my work buddy's vert stang) I remind myself "THIS is why Trigger is parked til spring". Then when I see a 15-20 year old car that's all rusted out I remind myself "THIS is why Trigger will be parked every winter I own him".
But when I walk past that Camaro all tucked and plugged in, to get in my truck it's a whole lot of "Damn I wish I could take the Camaro". For those of you who say "Yes, you should", you just don't understand the winter dynamics where I live... The Camaro wouldn't make it 1/2 mile and it would never get back upslope into the shop once I drove it down onto the ice.

I hear ya man. Same thing here in PA. Once the snow starts flying, it won't stop for months. Up here they use that awful liquid ice melter. It eats up cars worse than the salt! I have a 2004 Silverado and because of the liquid I have already had to replace the rocker panels, rear bumper, brake lines, rotor backing plates, and the gas tank straps. Winter sucks!

I don't know how you do it. I live in a city where I can drive my Camaro year round, and today I had to leave it at the dealer for paint protection and an alarm install (as part of the purchase, new 2011 SS bought last Friday) and it's driving me nuts. And it's only one day!

Mines been garaged since Sunday and I miss is bad. Main roads are clear but some side streets in shade are still bad. Going to wait a few more days for the sand and salt to get off the roads and then back on the attack. Gotta love the 4x4 for the winter though.

I live in Vegas and car drive all year long. I would hate to have to put my baby away for the winter. I hope it flys by for you!

no withdrawals here, I don't mind my Camaros sitting in my Garage during the Winter, better than being coated with salt.
