So I got pulled over today...

I was on 294 n and I saw a trailer with a camaro on it so naturally I sped up to look at it. Well then I see lights...

I pull over he comes to window I tell him what I was doing. He then asks if its an ss and after saying yes he asked what size the motor was I tell him 6.2... then he starts smiling... he hands back my license and says "well slow down but my challenger srt8 will still beat you" he then walks back to his car laughing.

I love my car haha

There's a motorcycle cop on a local main road in my town and he's does nothing but write tickets non stop. He must win the award for the most tickets written each month.
I make sure to drive the speed limit and not a mile over.
I got a ticket for going 62 mph in a 55 mph zone. Come on, that's a crappy ticket
(7 mph over).

Cops often write tickets for 7mph over here...Usually 5 over is safe. In the last few years they seem to be loosening up on it though.

When I see folks get mad for 10 over I don't understand why. Shoot anything over is illegal, there is no written rule about a grace mph. If they stop you in that range, be cool and they often will warn. They're just doing their jobs. I've gotten two warnings by just being cool and joking around with the officers.

Guess I'd better be careful visiting my family to the south. Never had any problems in the minivan.... :0)

I was talking with a cop the other day(I was not in trouble, we were waiting in line at a coffee shop) and I don't know how but we got into a conversation about speeding tickets and he said that he will only write tickets if someone is going more than 15 over. Now that is a very leniant cop if you ask me. And probably very rare.

Have to agree with you on that one especially in a 55 zone

Guess you would really like me then, I usually don't pull out unless you are 20 mph and over (except 25 mph zones then its 15)

The cops in our area don't give warnings and tell you your car is cool. If they flip the lights on, your getting a ticket.
