TOO LOUD?
I just installed tsp off-road 1-7/8 headers, x pipe, muffler delete, and k&n intake. I haven't got it tuned yet but i scheduled appt for next week. But i think it's a little too loud, in 4th gear at around 2000rpm it's sounds like a diesel lol . will a dynotune smooth it out or should i buy a new catback or axle back???

Run it up to 7000 sounds much better there. Buy you an axle back exhaust a tune doesn't quite exhaust lol

Why we advise folks to ask, listen and read before stepping off the plank.

yeah axle back mufflers. i have the stock NPP with 1-7/8 catless headers and that works for me. pretty quiet at low RPM, screams at high.
i was actually thinking of going with borla attaks but that might be too loud for me too. plenty of places to search here to get an idea (and listen for yourself) and no changing ur axle back won't change much in terms of tune, just sound |

Definitely need to install some mufflers. Long tubes with muffler delete would be so loud but probably sounds awesome at WOT

You are going to need some sort of exhaust.
After experiencing the same volume as you at one point in my many exhaust escapades, I firmly believe that the muffler delete is best left to those without long tube headers. Others love it that loud, but to me it was way too unrefined. It just sounded sloppy. And at idle, it kind of sounds like a canal boat. But that is just my opinion, and you know what they say!
