2018 Dodge Challenger T/A

Another Mopar boat sets sail......

I like the looks, but hopelessly outclassed by Chevy & ford.

If it was not a Fiat I might own one of these for looks and inside cabin room. Yes it is a boat but still looks super cool! I hate FIAT though!

It's quick and comfortable and handles good enough.. That's fine for majority of people.

I might be better if it was actually a fiat. That platform is 12 years old at this point. It needs a new generation bad.

They're definitely cool and would be a fun cruiser but it's a yacht for sure.

Platform is older than that. I think its derived from the Mercedes E-class from the early 2000s.

Late 90's actually.

The platform was already a bit old when the Charger/300 was put on it in the fall of 2004.

I really like the TA if I was in the market it would be a 392 TA or the 392 Shaker, as they are the best looking out of the Chevy, Mustang and Dodge cars offered. It might be an old platform but Dodge is doing a great job with this car, and a lot of people agree with the Challenger selling as many units as the Camaro in 2017.

Dodge is going the 70's route. Appearance packages to keep interest rolling.

* 1 in 3 Challengers is a rental car

It's not new, the package came out in 2017. Either way it's a beautiful package and an awesome car. Better cruiser than the Mustang or Camaro. May not handle as well as either but it's not meant to. It's meant as a cruiser and straight line car, still agile enough for some back roads.

If your goals are all out track car grab a 1LE, if you want a car to cruise the strip and actually fit some luggage and passengers, grab a Challenger 392.

The only time I hear how more Challengers are rental cars than Camaro is when they are selling the same like now, I'm sure that GM brass is not sitting there in their office and saying oh well the only reason that Challenger is selling equal to the Camaro is rental sales lol.
The only thing that the Camaro can do better than the Challenger is on a road course, if you want a track car then Camaro is your car, if you want a car to drive every day in the summer months and take cursing, kids in the back seat.
I can put the cooler and chairs in the truck of my RT and can go to the beach with kids, can roll down the window put my arm out and rest on the door, it is a nice car to take on a long drive.

I like the look of the Challengers and it would make a nice comfy highway cruiser, but nothing more than that.
