Trifecta Tune

Would it be worth it with a cold air intake and just an axleback? Or a waste of money?

to be honest, it would be a waste of money. If you're ready to spend 400 dollars on something, I'd suggest a ported intake manifold or a manifold insulator. They have great gains. The ported IM is a great mod!

I'm getting a Cold Air Intake and the tune would be for my birthday from the folks in 6 days! What is an intake manifold and a manifold insulator?

intake manifold is what your cold air intake pipe goes into. i would suggest not trying to be an ass or rude. Learn about your car before you start to modd so you dont do anything stupid that cost you a alot of money. the llt engine is very touchy. a cold air intake itself is not worth a tune and depending on the brand you will not see much gains.

If I wanted an intake manifold I'd know about it. I'm getting the injen cold air intake and I have an axle back exhaust. I've never heard of an upgraded intake manifold for the camaro.

Yes there is an intake manifold mod for our cars. I would also agree with cjt that maybe you should do a little more research on the mods out so you can choose the best one for you.

I might look into it. Does it void warranty? What are the gains?

I don't think a dealer will notice a port intake or throttle body but if they do may void warranty.

For the throttle body, i think it was like 5-8 hp. Not much. It's more for throttle response.

The insulator though will give you about 20hp off peak. It's a really good mod. It'll definitely be a bigger change than trifecta for sure.
