Me too. When driving back from Vegas to Phoenix at night. I noticed how cool it was to see a couple unique HID headlights. Makes me really consider the RS package now.

That's why I wish the ordering was more like the Mustang. From what I read on the mustang, you can just order the HID's seperately for around $495 or something like that. Wish we could do that here.

I chose not to get the RS package because it only really offered the HID lamps. The dealer ensured me that there will be after market kits for these. Just like everyhing else, the cutouts are there to replace the lamps. There isnt any special wiring or power requirements for the HID's.

I did get a reply from #3 on his page and he seemed very happy with the standard headlights. We can always put in Silverstar Ultra's or Philips X-treme Power bulbs. |

But don't you want to spend the extra $1000 for RED SS emblems?

First and foremost, a BIG THANK YOU goes out to Heather and Jeff. They were on vaction in south Florida and spent more time showing off the car than enjoying their vacation. Heather and Jeff you are great people and people like you are the reason the I have faith in the future Of GM.
Now for my experience with the CAMARO. The red you see in the pics/video is much better in person. I actually said, wow, that red is much nicer in person many times that afternoon. The engine compartment is clean, organized and looks mean as heck. Sitting in the seat will truely amaze you, it was sooo comfortable, I did not want to get out. All controls within reach and gauges easy to see. The clutch was easy to operate and the shifter is right were it needs to be. I am only about 6 foot, so their was no issue of headroom. I think everyone will be pleasantly suprised with thier new CAMARO. |

I agree with Bryan. Heather and Jeff, thank you so much for spending that much of your vacation letting us pester you and slobber all over the car. Everybody that was there with me loved the car. It convinced my wife that I can trade in her Acura for one (which I was really gonna do anyway). I'm sure my son will be telling everybody at school about it as soon as winter break is over, and I'm sure the video is already on his MySpace page.
I hope you guys have a safe trip home. We'll stay here and soak up the sunshine for you. Thanks again. Happy New Year. |
