[QUOTE=Revo1;652491] And while the Vette is gonna get you to school alot faster, the Camaro is a 2+2, allowing you alot more cargo space (ie: friends, books, beer kegs) than the Vette, which is like a 2+2cupholders right? QUOTE]

i would say to buy the vette first and the Camaro later. Cant beat that deal on the vette and you can get a better deal and better options on the Camaro in a couple of years

I battled this same demon before ordering my camaro, but in the end, they're actually two completely different vibes. I love muscle cars and sports cars, but I'm really more of a muscle car guy than a sports car guy. Although I love the interior of the vette better, it fits me like a glove, and I don't LOVE the interior of the camaro, the overall muscle car vibe of the camaro fits me better. It got really tough when I found a blue 2007 vette with NAV, a magnacharger and only 9K miles on it for $31,500.

Same here, if I didn't have an 18 month old son I would be getting a vette. The deals you can get right now are unbelievable

I'm in the same boat, going with camaro over corvette because of children. I don't plan on taking them with me in it too often, but its nice to know I can pick them up in an emergency without having to go home and switch cars first.

The vette would be quicker because lighter, but the difference in money could put a supercharger on that Camaro and then you could have more fun by blasting past 90% of all the other Camaro's out there plus you would have some added room. As far as looks, they are both hot! IMHO

How many opportunities will there be to own and drive a first year 5th Gen Camaro?.....as a previous owner of a first gen and a current owner of a 5th gen - Man it does not get any better than this!
Hey, if it turns out that it is not for you, and you still want a vette then at least you can say that you were there and got the t-shirt. |

Get the vette man. The Camaro is going to be every where in less than a year. I mean Camaro production has already tripled 2009 vette production!
See all those mustangs everywhere? Yea, that's gonna be the Camaro in a year. It's designed to be a mass produced car. You won't get the same customer care from a camaro that you will from a Vette. Many chevrolet dealers will roll out the carpet if you have a vette. Futhermore, the vette is better bang for buck, better technology, better aftermarket capability (especially interior/radio), way better acceleration/handling/stopping/190mph top speed. It's just a better car. If you buy a 08-09 Vette right now for 39-42k, the first year depreciation is over. If you pay 38k for your camaro, you will be upside down on your finance almost immediately.
