I'm going to cheat on my Camaro!

Well im gonna cheat on my camaro and do some modding on one of my other vehicles lol

My 99 4x4 S10 Blazer, ive been driving it for many many years and its been awesome. Given ive replaced the engine and had the transmission and transfer case rebuilt. It has almost 180K on it and its a champ, got me through everything ive thrown at it and some bad winters here in OKC. So im gonna show her some love.

I just ordered a Superlift 6" suspension lift kit $1600!!

I guess im going to tear it down in the garage and make a project out of it.. apparently its a permanent kit that I have to cut some stuff out on my truck and weld some stuff in.. we'll see how that goes. But it should be awesome. I'll also start fresh with all new moog front end parts and put in 410 gears front and back.

And doing this drops the front diff down so should make plenty of room for a 350 or 5.3 or who knows one of these days.. should be fun though! Heres a before pic

Keep us updated! It looks like you've taken good care of it. However it's weird that its had the engine and transmission replaced at only 180,000 miles.

The engine throws me off a bit, but some of them suffered from an imbalance from the factory.
The transmission on my '01 Bravada is slipping a little bit, and is slow to engage, so I'm not surprised at the transmission part of it one bit.

Yeah the motor started knocking (badly) at 120K never missed an oil change its whole life.. go figure. And the trans and transfer case prob didnt really need to be done but I have a buddy that builds trannys for aamco so I pulled them and he did it for cost. Plus I like things to be reliable! And for sure ill post some pics as I go.

Cool ole' Blazer
Gonna look good when you get the lift on it !

I have an '03 Blazer Xtreme that currently has 176,476
with cat/exhaust problems. Some day it will be back on the road.
Oh and its Red that matches my 1LT.

I approve. I've spent quality years with a'94 S-10 4x4 truck, and with an '01 S-10 4x4 Blazer... good trucks. Like 'em, love 'em, I want more of 'em.

My DD is an 02' 4 door blazer LS 4x4. I've thought about doing something similar to it but for now I just drive it and use it to pull the boat. Its hard to justify selling it, trading it or doing anything much to it at all since it runs so well. 145k miles so far and I just put new intake gaskets on it.
