Air gap intake

Anyone put this intake on a second gen camaro with stock hood? Wondering about the clearance?

I put a Whole TVS2300 Supercharger under mine..can't believe it wouldn't fit. Although I had a Z28 with factory hoodscoop wich allowed for just a tad more clearance. But...I know nothing for sure...

you will either need a drop base air cleaner or a really short airfilter.. it is a tight fit in mine with 3 in cowl, and a 3 inch air filter

Air gap will fit with a drop base.

I had this set up on my car; Air gap, 3" element, K/N velocity lid and L88 drop base similar to this one http://www.zip-corvette.com/ProductD...GR-SR&CTitle=&

I now run a Spectre snorkle type air cleaner with two elements for cooler intake charge.

Thanks meat. Nice car too. I'm restoring a 73 RS type LT. What size wheels and tires are those?
