I got a 1lt and i couldnt afford to get the rs package. So what i want to know is that if i can put the special lights on my car and whats great about the boston speakers???

if u are talking about the halo's yes u can, u might have to wait for the aftermarket companies to release it. u wont have control over the halo's like the rs package.

you could also research the parts differences & order/install the factory parts yourself.
as for the speakers, i haven't cared enough about them to research the differences, but i can personally tell you they sound good

the RS package isn't just halo's .. they are HID.

it will take an extra couple minutes of wiring, but it is possible to control them like/similar to the RS cars

Your best options are just to fork it up for the RS package or just go without the HID halos...

If you couldn't afford the RS package I'm sorry to say you likely won't be able to afford a retrofit of the HIDs/Halos. From what I've read if you buy the OEM parts you're going to be paying nearly as much as, if not more than, the entire RS package. Not sure what else you might be able to find as an alternative but odds are it either won't be cheap or won't be good.
