If you want to appreciate your back seat space, try stuffing someone into the back jumpseat on a 1st gen extended cab S-10 LOL, I had an 87, had someone sit back there once, it never happened again lol.

My head is pressing on the headliner if I am sitting in the back seat. Not in a sunroof car either. And I am 6'-0" tall. So you kind of have to stoop over or lean to the side to sit back there.

you can fit all three members of the Lollipop Guild in the back seat... they'll just have to decide on who's gonna be the betch who sits on the hump with no seat belt.

First, I have ridden the back seat and have had several opportunities to go to dinner with 4 adults. Short trips but very doable.

That being said I'm not sure what you expect. I've been in the back seat of gen 3 and gen 4 cars and I find the gen 5 to be as good or better.

Can you name a high performance coupe with better space? I can tell you for sure the Camaro back seat is flat out comfy compared to the CTS coupe.

I've been in a Camaro back seat a few times and wasn't all that uncomfortable. Really isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

#1 - i will never be sitting in my own back seat.

#2 - i refuse to adjust my driver seat to accommodate rear passengers.

if you have to tilt your head down or to the side while trying to sit up straight in the back seat - that means it's uncomfortable.

the only thing i've ever put in the back seat is a bag of clothes and a small cooler.

I always thought the "unusable back-seat", that is found in coupes, was there for marketing the car and lowering the car insurance!!!

Back when I was in college it (the "unusable back-seat") was handy for all the school books.

One a side note the front seat is often not very big either.

In my 3rd gen, the only way I fit is with the seat all the way back and the under dash pannel removed, other wise my feet don't fit down there which is important when ya have a stick.

Which means a nice view of the wires and fuse box.

My back seats get used regularly by people over 10 years old, for durations of 1 hour and over. I, also, use them for putting stuff in. In fact, I just hauled two 5-gollon jugs of water in them. One on each side and I used the seat belts to strap the jugs in and keep them from spilling over. I find I haul alot of stuff that won't fit through the trunk opening, that I end up putting in the back seats.

I can picture a meat grinder on an episode of "The Soprano's". Hell, you could probably fit ten or twelve back there.

It's perfectly usable.

I sit in the back seat to drive. I removed the driver seat so my long legs had enough room.
