$300 for stripes reasonable?
I normally do all my own stuff on my car but I don't want to mess with vinyl stripes. I was qouted $300 for the strips I am looking at. They are bee style rally stripes. The shop wants $300 with labor included. Fair price?

You can buy them on ebay and the quality is just as good for less than $100.

Basically if you will be happy with them it's worth it and it doesn't sound like they are ripping you off. |

i have heard quotes of 350 just for the labor. so that doesn't sound outrageous. depends on the quality of the stripes.

300$ sounds pretty fair. As long as they're using good quality vinyl id say go for it.

On ebay stripes it all depends on the material they are made out of. You can get good ones for a decent prices, and really bad for the same. As for install, it probably is going to be $250-$300 on anything but GM factory stripes. I was quoted $180 for just having the hood pieces installed, and the guy said if they weren't GM pieces that he wouldn't touch them. But that was one guy out of a ton of installers.

I think that is a great price if it's installed with the vinyl. Just make sure it is decent vinyl, they are not all created equal.
