Nice start buttons... Now we just need an engine connected to them. Last edited by speedster; 12-18-2010 at 09:41 AM. |

First Pic - Billet Turbo Transition pipes. The wastegates mount directly to these for excellent no flow restriction characteristics. Also note the main flow in the CNC'd bend. No restriction there either. Second Pic - Billet water pump for Air to Water intercooler. All connections are hardline covered in hose to look stock. Third Pic - Better shot of the water tank reservoir line showing the hardline covered by heater hose. |

OK, a little overkill, but never a worry about a blown line:
First Pic - These are the AC and heater lines. They are bent stainless steel hardlines and billet connectors. Each line is heat sleeved for thermal efficiency. You can just make it out, it is the black connector going to the billet piece. Second Pic - Stainless steel hardlines for dual pressure radiator overflows. |

OK, last one. This was the funniest. I couldn't figure out why they had to disconnect the passenger side windshield wiper and then remount it until they sent the picture. That intake is a full tunnel ram design and even though it fits under the raised hood, the firewall was another story. You forget how far back these LSX's sit in the new Camaro... Thanks to Pfadt for those solid motor mounts otherwise we'd be wiping the windshield with the intake.
That's it for now. Can't show you pics of the other induction stuff until finished. Last edited by speedster; 12-19-2010 at 03:04 PM. |

I know this sounds like a silly question, but I'm serious. Will there be anything left of the original car except the outer skin when it's done? I know much of it will look stock, but those of us following your thread know better. If you are really going to have this car at C5FII, I think I need to buy a plane ticket and book my hotel room. |

You need someone to run some more stainless steel lines, give me a shout... I'll work on that beast for free, or trade... Here are a couple samples of my latest work,. finished it today... Forgive the little colored lines drawn in it, I was sending the pics to several of our other rigs for the guys getting ready to modify their systems. All we got was a drawing, with no instructions of any type. I sat down, mapped it out, figured all the tubing out, and started running it. This was a complete rebuild inside the panel, and we added the three tanks on top of the panel, and the high pressure tank inside the panel. I can't begin to guess how many feet of tubing it took, and the headaches came from trying to route the tubing and still be able to get in and work on stuff... and I'll be damned if the hardest piece of tubing to measure, bend and install was the very last one I put in... I was like WTF... The craziest part was the hydraulics side was still energized with 3000 PSI in it... About a third of the lines in the panel are still hydraulic... I wrapped every High Pressure fitting in there with red "don't touch this one stupid" tape... lest I forget in a moment of sheer dumbness...and I wrote on the panel where I could reach what the function was. Another stupid dumb moment condom... Thats the little black bits of chicken scratch... It was hard to reach a lot of those spots... You may notice a couple of open ports in the lower left of one of the pics, this is where some hydraulic supply and return lines were removed. I replaced regulators, pop off valves, gauges and lots of other stuff. It was fun, took about seven days all total, and gave me more than one headache... But, It's done... and it works...And, I am officially off the rig TOMORROW........ WOOO HOOO, Land of Fresh milk, Camaros with pink accents and trim... and breakfast taco's Here I come... Tuesday Morning I'll be HOME, HOME, HOME...
