Its easily done without air tools, just doubles the time. You will still need a spring compressor.

I'm not surprised by this. I just paid $240 for a used book. That's ink and paper, $240.... and it's not even entertaining. It was $350 new, so I should feel like I got a deal. Everything is too expensive these days, lol.

I think 6 Benjamins is a bit steep for a spring install. I might shop around if I were in your shoes.
