MY BUILD DATE I APRIL 6TH in my car comes about the 27th or 28th of April. Do you think i could ask my dealer to wait til May 1st to pick up and sign papers??? Reason being id have another 2k for down payment

Might as well wait a couple days longer for a smaller installment. The benefit outweighs the cost in this situation, IMO. So I'd wait.

ty liberty ---but will my dearler let me wait three or four days???? Im trying to figure out timing.. If mine is built on april 6th, it will be what??? 2weeks before delivery?? if built on the last day of that week april 12th, add two weeks its still only the 26th of april. !ts still not may for 4 days===or could it take longer than two weeks after the dealer receives my vin#??

14 days after your car is built. You have it before May
Mine has a TPW of April 20th, so if it gets buuilt that day, it will be about 14 days or a few more

I am sure they will not mind putting some ropes around it in the showroom .They should PAY YOU !

Edit nevermind, im sure he would keep it, jkust make sure you have it in writing that it will not be driven, no one will be able to sit in it either.
Make sure you note the KM before and after

They will also hold the check for a couple days for you as well. I don't think you'd have anything to worry about.

from what my dealer tells me even if it comes in late april they arent allowed to sell them until may 6th. Is this correct?

My salesman already told me he'd hold my car for a week or two after arrival if I wanted extra time to get more for the down.

I don't think so. Fodbather had stated as recently as yesterday that there will be camaoros on the road driven by private owners by the time the May 6th event rolls around.

If you are really that worried about it, just tell the dealer you will be out of town that week and he'll have to hold it for you. I don't forsee it being a problem though. Especially only a few days...
