Yep, 1500 miles and counting. You just have to know what to do.

And if you don't mind me asking what did you do that was different than everyone else? Cause I can't afford a tune right now, and I definitely don't want to stop driving my car...

It has been off for quite a while now. One thing to mention is that I put a set of brand new O2 sensors in the new exhaust (rather than remove the stock ones and put them into the new exhaust). I have no idea if maybe the new sensors 'learned' differently, but just thought I would throw it out there since it is something that might be slightly different on my car. As I mentioned, I have a complete ARH setup and NO tune
Just because the Light is Out does not mean you Don't have Several Codes, usually P0420 and P0430, some times P1133 and P1153.

Running Long Tubes without a tune is like wearing Running Shoes and sitting down.

So would it be correct to assume the answer would be: yes, if you tune it, you won't get a CEL?

Correct, as long as you have the pcm ignore the code when you add the tune, you will not have the CEL...

Correct, Plus you get all the advantages from the tune, No Torque management, No Skip Shift, Raised Rev limiter, Raised speed limiter, Optimized fuel and timing settings, the ability to return to stock any time, Read and clear codes, Datalogging.

If they are dicks, technically they could void anything relating to the engine if they have valid proof that the headers caused the problem. But business is about who you know, not always what you know....so befriend a dealer

I happeded to be at the driver/owner end of the abolishment of my CEL's !

Long story made short ........ there is a tune for it so if you are not willing to get a tune because of the BS over warranty .....well ..... just get the tune.

About the warranty . If the mod wasn't the cause of the warrantable issue, the warranty will cover it.

Your responsibility is to get the tune done by a "knowledgeable", "experienced", "skilled" mechanic! I did alot of research and asked alot of questions befoire I did finally get Livernois Motorsports to do my mods! I felt most comfortable when I discovered that levernois Motorsports is a sub of Livernois Engineering. LE does alot of engineering for the big three !! I am sure you can find a shop that will carry the same reputation.

Again.... there is a tune for the systems that displace and replace the Cats and O2 sensors.
