performance mode

Hey guys i have a 2010 2ss/rs and i was messing around with my traction control button and i found a new setting. Everybody knows that when you hit the button once it turns the traction control off hit it again and it puts the car in competitive mode. If you hold the button down for about 10 seconds it turns everything off.

Does anybody have any experience with this?

thanks!

that turns off all of your nanny controls (tcs/stabiltrak etc). better know how to handle your car pretty well when you play around with it : )

it will teach you how to be a better driver given you learn how to drive without them in the right environment.

I recommend driving with them both on for a long while and trying to get a feel for what causes them to engage. once you've gotten a good idea of what causes each to engage (and you will learn this naturally as you push the car in different scenarios) you will already have a good feel for the limit that you can push the car before your ass is going to start sliding out.

drive safely, and have fun.

Chevy has had that on the vettes for almost 10 years. I think on the vettes it's called competition mode too. It does disable the traction and stability control. Can be a lot of fun if you know how to handle it. If not, have your insurance agents number handy
