I think availability of cars in the coming months means cancel and re-order. Supply is only going to get better. How many stories have we heard about someone walking in on a deal. Your dealer may be able to help out too... that is if you are not too pissed at him.

This is why you need to review your orders with your dealer. This has been a known issue. You should order the car you really want. Tell your dealer that you don't want the car.

Sorry to hear it. What dealer may I ask? Taking the car without the RS is an idea but I would re-order and wait. Hard call either way but I would wait. Good luck with whatever you decide

If you've been dealing with him for over 15 years, he should do the right thing and get his next order set up to be your car as you ordered it, and that shouldn't take as long as he is saying. This was their screw up, not yours.

Oh yeah, it this dealer has been there with you the whole 8 months, then he ought to be a little forgiving on the price or offer you some other peace offering for you being so patient w/him/them.

Most of the dealers who I've dealt with simply don't get it, not dealer bashing at all, but I've read that a lot of RS options got deleted, the dealers are learning in this process as well. I ordered GFX and when my VIN was posted, I asked how long would it take for him to install the option, he stated that it comes with the car and they will be on the car when it arrives.

This was the GM and the order clearly stated LPO, his response is this is the first car that we have had ordered with the option, at this point I didn't go into the LPO stripe package, I'll help him along.

I shouldn't have to help at MSRP, but karma will kick your ass in the long run, if the RS is important to you, hold out, if it was me, I would fight another battle.

if you cancel he can sell it for 5g's over list. my dealer has sold 2.. 1 -5 over another 4 over tell him you'll split the cash or he can throw you some assec. for you problems. get what you really want this only will happen once
