Just wanted to thank Nineball for this thread, it really helped out and I just lowered my car. She looks GREAT
Now I have only one tip, USE AIR TOOLS!
I had to borrow an air compressor and tools and even those stuggled witha few of the bolts. Its time saving and well worth it. If you dont have air tools, borrow them or rent them. TRUST ME! It wasnt Gorilla tight, it was like Godzilla tightened them.

Nine Ball, how come you didn't use a torque wrench when re-installing everything?

It's mentioned in the Pfadt instructions.

Really considering dropping my camaro, do you have any problems with daily driving like speed bumps or anything like that?

Can anyone explain about cutting the bump stop? What is the reason for that. Also, anyone with the Eibach springs, did you cut them when you installed your springs?

Help. I'm stuck at this spot:
4. At this point, the strut is free and hanging by a single bolt at the top of the strut tower inside the engine bay. Pop the hood and remove the plastic nut cap by twisting it counter-clockwise. Use a 24mm wrench or deep socket to loosen only the top nut. Get a buddy to assist with catching the strut in case it falls out once that nut is removed. Once the nut and associated flange are removed, the strut is ready to be pulled out from the bottom. Do not be tempted to remove the second nut found under the first one, that comes later.

There's a T50 torx on top of the strut tower and i can't seem to be able to hold it with the torx socket and get a 24 mm wrench on the nut. need a quick tip.

Yep, 5 year old thread may have something to do with it.

I'm lowering mine tomorrow - and until now had not seen anything about cutting the bump stops.

I didn't see that anyone was able to explain why it is necessary, and the do/don't pro/con?

Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind, reason explained here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61709

EDIT2: For Eibach users I found: "The Eibach instructions specifically tell you not to cut the bump-stops."
