Working at the Carwash

I will be washing a limited number of cars at the Fest this year.

Please don't bomb my PM box post to this thread if you have questions or would like to reserve a slot.

CASH ONLY PLEASE. Also please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment. As it stands I am only planning on washing two cars an hour... so book early.

Wednesday I will setup (location will be announced sn) for about noon and it will be 'first come first served' till about 6pm and then appointments from there on into the night.

Thursday will be by appointment only and I'll setup for about 7am take a break from 12-1 and then shut it down about 6pm. Just in time to be able to make it to the Rodgers Meet and Greet!

Friday and Saturday I will wash from 7am to about noon. Hey I am mainly coming to enjoy the Fest. Washing cars is really just a ploy to be able to get close to some bad assed Camaros!

Any request for polishing or cut and polish will be booked only in the later afternoon hours. Again these services will be limited so speak up now or forever hold your piece.... ok you could always just drive to N'Awlinz to have me do it.

Pricing will be on par with last year's Fest.

• Wash - Optimum, Incredimitt, Montana Boars Hair Brush
• Air and Towel Dry - Master Blaster, Dry Me Crazy

Polish (minor swirl and scratch correction) $225

• Polish with M205 and Micro Fiber Pads
• IPA and or Eraser wipe-down

• Tires and Trim Dressed using Ultima
• Wheel Wheels Dressed
• Glass Polished

Cut and Polish (moderate swirls and scratch correction) $350

• Bug and Tar Removal
• Foam Soak
• Exterior Strip Wash (removes all wax/sealants)
• Wheels and Tires Cleaned
• Claying (removes bonded surface contaminates)
• Cut with D300 and Micro Fiber Pads
• Polish with M205 and Micro Fiber Pads
• IPA and or Eraser wipe-down
• Sealant Blackfire or BLACK LIGHT or your supplied product.
• Tires and Trim Dressed using Ultima
• Wheel Wheels Dressed
• Glass Polished

I will make my kick ass Metro Vacuum available for anyone to use and depending on the response I may put together a small kit that you could use to do clean and dress your interior. If you have any special request or questions just fire away. And If you have read ALL of this I may be looking for help at the fest from you!!


As you can see you have to be a pretty OCD individual, LOVE cars, AND use quality products and techniques to be a professional detailer.

I am not cleaning any interiors. I do have a vacuum you can borrow. If there is enough interest I will put together an interior kit with cleaner towel and dressing.
