Hey Joe, did you ever get the coolant leaking issue resolved? Were the PRC heads the culprit?

No TSP said they were doing inventory last week. So the manager told me they will probably get to pressure check the heads on Tuesday next week.

Thanks as always for putting things into perspective Andrew. One thing I have yet to try is the Fast Short Race Runners in the intake manifold. Right now I have the long runners in it. Before when we tried them the first time the cam phaser wasn't working properly and I know it will murder the torque down low but honestly that might be what I need because I can't get any traction to save my life. I'm sure that would get me to 500whp but I don't really know what to expect. I think it might be worth a try?

Dang Joe, just checked out your thread, man I'm so sorry you are having all these issues!! That sucks for certain!! All the time and money you put into this build, and your car, you'd think things would be better with it all, not worse. I sure hope you get it all figured out and working properly!! Good luck brother!!

So I just got off the phone with TSP and they said there are no cracks in the cylinder heads. The guy said they were pressure checked on the runners and the deck but no leaks. He said the only way it could be getting coolant in the cylinders was for a head gasket not sealing because maybe the deck on the engine is warped but I got a $100 machinists straight edge and put it to use today and couldn't even get a .002 feeler gauge in between anywhere on the deck surface The only reason I didn't try a .001 gauge because I don't have one that small. So I'm sure it's within a .001. The only thing I can think of is the arp studs that I've been using are to weak now because I've reused them like 4 or 5 times. So I also sent my stock heads to them for their cnc porting service too. So he said that they will expedite them and get those back to me in about a week. So when I get the stock heads back I will be putting those back on first to see if that solves this gasket sealing problem with new arp studs.

Does anyone know how many times you can reuse arp studs?

I don't think there is a limit for those. I think the only way to really know would be to measure the exposed length at install, then re-check each time before using again. And look for any damage to the stud or threads.
As long as they look good and the nuts work like they should I wouldn't worry about it. thats my $.02 anyways.. lol
