Hp difference in headers upgrade with/without mid pipe upgrade

How much of a loss in hp will I be taking getting new headers without getting an upgrade in the mid-pipe? (not changing to an x-pipe). Just concerned about the worth of getting headers with or without any upgrade behind the headers... Thanks!

I think you mean cat-back. If you go with long tube headers you'll have no choice but to change your mid-pipe.

There are plenty of people that run the stock cat-back with LT headers. There will be very little to no HP difference in the OEM cat-back vs aftermarket.

like what caverman said you need to upgrade the mid pipe. by upgrading the factory " cat back" you should gain like 10HP with a good tune.

Yeah I meant to the cat lol k cuz I got Magnaflow from the axle-back. Just wanted to make sure it was worth getting headers and cat-back, is that the same as headers and hi- flow cats? Or that's just to the cat converter??

I'm confused because looking at the ARH it shows long tube SHORT system with cats... I thought short system meant not adding the cats into the purchase..?

this system should come with mid pipes. it says it comes with high flow cats which is mid pipes . they said it connects to your x or h pipes. and you need a mid pipe to do that. and the price is 1300 is that sounds like mid pipes are included.

Not sure why there's ARH 1 7/8 long tube short system with xpipe and cats AND then ARH 1 7/8 long tube with xpipe and cats...
